A few old faces stop by

We were sitting in the media room here a little while ago when a few former Huskies stopped in to say hello — Stanley Daniels and Shelton Sampson.
Daniels, who was breifly on the roster of both the Rams and the Jets this year before being cut, was wearing a Jets T-shirt and shorts and said he is back to finish up a few classes for his political science degree.
Sampson said he’s done with school but is working out hoping to get some looks from NFL teams or other professional leagues.
Daniels also reported that Scott White is still in the area and is working as an assistant coach this year at Seattle Prep. That’s the same school where Drew Turner, the son of UW athletic director Todd Turner, is the quarterback.
