Scouts Inc. picks UW to win

Several of you have sent me the link to the Scouts Inc. breakdown of the game on ESPN.com.
I was reluctant to post it since it’s on the Insider package and only available through subscription, but what the heck, here it is.
It’s a pretty good breakdown that ultimately calls for UW to win 17-14.
It says that OSU’s running game has been struggling and is “unlikely to get back on track this week” and that Jake “Locker’s ability to make plays with his feet and his arm will ultimately be the difference.”
Most eye-opening are some of the position breakdowns. Scouts Inc. gives UW the edge on the offensive line which seems somewhat surprising given that the Buckeyes do have three starters back from a team that went to the national title game last year (UW also has three starters back).
Scouts Inc. also gives UW edges at QB, the defensive line, coach and overall. Ohio State gets the eges at RB, WR, LB, DB and special teams. Giving Tyrone Willingham the edge over Jim Tressel, who has won a national title, would also seem a little surprising on the face of it as well.
Scouts Inc. also writes that UW’s receivers aren’t good matchups for OSU’s DBs but that the Huskies have the “potential for a potent ground attack most weeks.”
To make clear, Scouts Inc., is not affiliated with Scout.com.
