A few predictions

I have to admit, I have no real feel for this week’s game yet, especially with the sudden uncertainty over UCLA’s quarterback situation.
But here are a few people who think they know what’s going to happen:
— First, the Harmon Forecast from CBS Sportsline, picking UCLA to win 30-21.
— And here’s MSNBC taking UCLA 27-24. The last point in this guy’s writeup has some validity. While UCLA was 7-6 overall last year, it was 6-1 at home, losing only to Washington State of all people, beating, among others, USC and Oregon State.
And the Bruins are 21-5 at home under Karl Dorrell, which ranks 18th among all Division-I teams since 2003.
