Here’s my story for today, recapping the UCLA game a bit. One thing cut out of the story was mention that E.J. Savannah left the game late with a recurrence of stingers but said he is fine.
For USC stories we turn to the same outlets as a week ago, just some different writers.
Here’s a USC blog from Scott Wolf at the LA Daily News. He’s the guy who cast the lone vote for the Huskies in the AP Poll after the first week of the season.
Here’s the USC blog from the LA Times.
The LA Times also wraps up the college football weekend with some interesting perspective on UCLA.
The LA Times also recaps USC’s weekend plus a look ahead at UW with a glowing comment about Jake Locker from Trojans coach Pete Carroll calling him “as good a prospect as we’ve seen in our conference in a long time.”
The LA Times also recaps UCLA’s weekend with the news that Patrick Cowan could be out for a few games with the knee injury suffered against UW.
Here’s the LA Daily News looking ahead to UW, as well, with even more comments from Carroll on Locker, as well as his assertion of the Huskies that “they’re going to be tough.”
