More on Murchison

UW cornerback Jordan Murchison was originally scheduled for a hearing this week in Seattle Municipal Court on a domestic violence charge from last June.
Instead, a court spokesman said Murchison agreed to a Stipulated Order of Continuance. What that means is that if Murchison complies to the guidelines set forth in the order over a two-year period (in this case, ending on June 25, 2009) the case will be dismissed.
Murchison was sentenced last week in King County Court to one year in jail with all but two days suspended (which had already been served) on a separate assault charge.
As far as I can tell, that wraps up the sentencing portion of both of his cases. UW coach Tyrone Willingham said earlier in the week there was no change in Murchison’s status with the team. He has not been been with the team since early August while dealing with both of these cases, but he is still listed on the active roster.
