Phil Steele picks, uh, Trojans

Okay, so everybody (other than Dick Baird) will be picking USC to win this week, me included — just finalizing my final score still.
But even though there’s little drama in the selections this week, I still like linking to Phil Steele’s pick because he at least gives a little explanation, as well as his computer projections of the total yards for each team.
As you can read, Steele picks USC to win 37-20. That actually sounds like a little better game than some might think.
Interesting further down to see that he expects Oregon to beat Cal pretty easily. If you’ve followed Steele this year, you know that he picked Oregon as a darkhorse national title contender in the pre-season, a prediction that so far is looking pretty good. We’ll see if it’s still looking good come Sunday.
