Tuesday morning links

May be a little light on the links this week with no opponent on the Saturday horizon.
But I’ll try to send along a few things.
First, here’s our notebook today, covering a lot of the ground from the Tyrone Willingham press conference yesterday and some of which was already presented here.
Here’s the take from USC cornerback Shareece Wright on the hit he levied on Jake Locker Saturday. Wright admits they wanted to hit Locker hard early on if they could, saying he was thinking “now he’s going to feel us” and that after that Locker was “sliding,. ducking, he wasn’t trying to be a running back anymore. That’s exacty what we needed.”
Worth noting that Locker did run for a 10-yard TD shortly after that. The hit came on Locker’s second run of the game, a 13-yarder. He had 16 official carries for 37 yards the rest of the game.
Here’s an interesting note from the Eugene Register-Guard’s Ducks blog about two AP voters who screwed up their ballots this week, one mistakenly forgetting Oregon — which I’m sure you’ll all sympathize with greatly — and another transposing Cal and Oregon.
Here are Ken Goe’s Pac-10 notes from the Oregonian and more from The Columbian.
For an early look at Arizona State, the Sun Devils can get bowl eligible by beating WSU Saturday.
