Update on recruits

The bye week provides a good time to update UW’s recruiting a little bit.
The Huskies have 11 known commitments in a class that ranks 33nd and fifth in the Pac-10 by Scout.com behind UCLA, USC, Arizona and Cal.
Rivals.com takes a slighthly dimmer view of UW’s recruiting efforts to date ranking it seventh in the Pac-10 and No. 41 nationally behind UCLA, USC, Cal, Arizona, Arizona State and Stanford. Rivals.com lists the same 11 commitments as does Scout.com.
I’m assuming the Huskies will be able to sign a full class of 25 if they want to. With the new way the coaches are doing the roster — listing fourth-year juniors as seniors, etc. — it’s hard to know exactly how many scholarships they will have this year.
But there’s enough certain attrition due to graduation — as well as the fact that UW has just 76 scholarship players at the moment (78 if Anthony Boyles and Devin Aguilar get eligible) — to figure they’ll be able to take a full class, or close to it, if they so choose.
