Post-game notes

A couple of quick post-game notes:
— Kent Baer coached the game from the press box, a move he said he decided to make after last week saying there was some alignment issues he thought he could better see from above. He said he’ll stay in the press box the rest of the season.
— Jake Locker took a hard shot to the shoulder on that final TD but said he thinks he’ll be fine. But he had a lot of ice on it after the game.
— Rankin had the fourth-highest total in school history with 255 yards.
— UW had six sacks, the most since the Syracuse game, and players said they liked the fact that the Huskies were more aggressive today.
— Other injuries — Nate Williams was bothered by a hamstring, which was why Jordan Murchison played in the nickel, and Chad Macklin had some back spasms and should be okay.
