— I wrote a couple of stories for today. First, a little feature on Trenton Tuiasosopo, who has taken on a key role the past few weeks as the starting MLB with Donald Butler out; and a notebook leading off with Alexis Serna’s amazing success against UW the last three years. Going 13-13 against one team has to be some kind of record, but I couldn’t really find it anywhere.
— Also in our paper today our Bud Withers’ Pac-10 picks and rankings. I’ll pass along my picks later today.
— The Oregonian has a story on OSU’s offensive line feeling some pressure to play a lot better tomorrow.
— CollegeFootballNews.com chips in with this preview of the game.
— According to the University of Hawaii web site, the start time for the UW game on Dec. 1 has been set at 6:30 p.m. local time. (Think that’s 8:30 here, right?) And sounds like they’ll have a good crowd with fewer than 7,000 tickets left, meaning a crowd of at least 43,000 or so.
