Quick post-game notes

I’ve finished filing my last stories for the night — you can find my main story here.
That, and our notebook which you can find here, should answer most of the main questions you have.
There’s also a Bud Withers column here.
The upshot is that Jake Locker has a sprained neck and flew back to Seattle where he will be examined further. Whether he plays again this season is uncertain but he certainly seems to be doing a lot better than was feared initially, though players and coaches said they saw Jake moving his legs when he was on the ground so a certain level of worry was removed pretty quickly.
It won’t be until Sunday at the earliest that we will have any more definitive word on Locker, who did not speak to the media after the game.
As for the season — it’s officially a losing one now with UW at 3-7 — we’ll have lots of time to debate all of that this week.
I often do grades afterward but I’m going to pass on that for tonight and will do them Sunday when there’s a little more time to sort it out.
