Some quick post-game notes

Louis Rankin sat out with a bruised hip and apparently a wrist injury of some sort. Tim Lappano said they took him out in part to make sure he’d be able to play next week.
— Lappano said Jake Locker “will be ready to go next week” and that he will play. “It’ll be impossible to keep him out.” There was no real consideration of playing Locker today, despite the comments of coaches late in the week that it was still a gametime decision, but Locker was cleared to play and Lappano said could have been used simply to hand the ball off if needed.
— Other than Rankin and Davenport, who was out with a bruised thigh suffered in practice Thursday, there were no other major injuries.
— UW players were obviously happy with this one and much of the theme was also being pleased with the way they won, by dominating up front and playing physical.
