Raining in Hawaii

Bad as the weather is here, sounds like it’s not a lot better in Hawaii, where it has apparently been raining heavily a lot of the day.
Here’s a story from the Honolulu Advertiser about practice being canceled today due to the rain.
Sounds as if the weather will get a little better over there, but this may not quite be the perfect lie-at-the-beach days that those of us going over there would like.
UW practiced indoors again today to try to acclimate to the temperature more than to stay out of the rain.
There didn’t appear to be any real personnel news as UW coach Tyrone Willingham said there were no serious new injuries and no real change to players who have been out. LB Donald Butler, for instance, is likely to miss this game, as well.
Willingham noted that the travel roster is bigger for this game since it is a non-conference game (the limit is 64 for Pac-10 games) and that most of the players on the team are expected to make the trip, including some who aren’t playing this year.
Willingham also was asked about missing the state title game involving his son’s Skyline team this Friday night and said he’s understandably sad not to see it but he is hoping to figure out a way (such as a Slingbox or something) to at least get to watch it live.
