Huskies a no-show at NFL Combine

The NFL Scouting Combine begins this week (running Feb. 20-26). But the Huskies won’t be represented, with none of UW’s potential draftees getting an invite.
Here’s the official list of players invited to the combine and there are no Huskies included among the 335 players mentioned.
Every other Pac-10 team has at least one player on the list, and 40 players from the conference have received invites (here’s the list of Pac-10 attendees).
This doesn’t mean no Huskies will be drafted, but it is in line with the conventional wisdom that few, if any, Huskies have a real good shot of being selected.
Here’s the page of UW prospects from NFLDraftScout.com, showing not only seniors but players from all classes.
As is explained in the fine print, the site tries to use “the best verifiable 40-yard time” for each player. Interesting to see Vonzell McDowell tied with Louis Rankin as the fastest on the list (4.48).
Also interesting to see Chris Izbicki rated as the second-best prospect.
