Coaches Hot Seat breaks down Huskies

So here’s something from the web site CoachesHotSeat.com right in the wheelhouse for all of you debating how many wins UW has to get next season to save the job of coach Tyrone Willingham.
The site offers this breakdown of UW for next season and speculates that the Huskies will finish 6-6 and that that will be enough to earn Willingham more time.
Hard to argue with any of their keys for next season since they are all pretty obvious — no question Jake Locker’s development will be huge and that UW has to play better defense, etc.
I would agree that home success is huge next season, especially since so many of the games appear winnable — the Pac-10 schedule is simply flipped from last year which means bringing in UCLA instead of USC, Stanford instead of Cal, etc. It seemed like the home collapses against Arizona and WSU caused as much angst as anything else that happened last season.
I would also agree with the line about the opener at Oregon being huge — I can’t think of a season-opener in the 11 years I’ve covered the team that will be more heavily scrutinized.
And it’s again an obvious point that the Huskies need to show some major improvement next season. But does two wins, as these guys speculate UW will get, qualify in that regard? Could depend at that point on what happens in a bowl game — 7-6 could look a whole lot different than 6-7.
