Catching up with Cookie Jackson

The Times’ weekly Flashback today focused on former UW running back Ron “Cookie” Jackson. Here’s the link.
Jackson was a star of UW teams of the early ’80s — he had a particularly big game in the 1981 Apple Cup with 103 rushing yards, a game in which whoever won got to go to the Rose Bowl. He now lives in Ellensburg but spends a lot of time working in South Africa.
