The mourning after

That all-too-familiar feeling:
— Here’s a link to all of our coverage. Most noteworthy may be Bud Withers’ column on how the Huskies found some energy for three quarters despite one of the smallest crowds ever seen at Husky Stadium. Percy Allen chipped in this sidebar on the interesting day for Cody Bruns, and our notebook with more details on Ryan Perkins’ decision to end his career after this season.
— The Arizona Republic says the Sun Devils kept preaching patience. The Republic also has a sidebar on the big day for ASU WR Michael Jones.
— In case you somehow had forgotten, UW’s next opponent is UCLA and former Husky coach Rick Neuheisel — pretty sure we’ll have more on that later. Anyway, here is a story on Oregon State’s rout of the Bruins and here also our Neuheisel’s comments after that game, including why he talked to the fans afterward..
Ted Miller says the Washington teams showed a little life.
Ken Goe’s Pac-10 links lead off with what a special season this could be for Oregon State.
— The stats for UW continue to be ugly. Most noteworty heading into next week — UW is 115th in the nation in rushing offense, and UCLA 116h.
All for now.
