Is Franchione a candidate?

According to FootballScoop.com, former Alabama and Texas A&M coach Dennis Franchione is “one of the leading candidates” to take over at Washington.
FootballScoop reports that UW president Mark Emmert once offered the LSU job to Franchione, which must have been right before he ended up getting Nick Saban, instead.

And here’s a bio of Franchione, who is 57 years old.
