Friday afternoon links

A few links of interest to pass your way today. …
— I know this is already old news on here (sorry, had some family activities today) but looks like it is now official on Lane Kiffin heading to Tennessee. Not only does that officially eliminate Kiffin from UW consideration but it also means one of the other premier jobs out there is now filled.
— UW has apparently not shown any interest in Oregon OC Chip Kelly, who was on the periphery of some lists when the job first opened. The Eugene Register-Guard reports today that Kelly will talk with Syracuse but that that is the only school to have shown interest.
— One columnist compares the way Phil Fulmer and Tyrone Willingham are handling being lame-duck coaches, and finds UW’s head man a little lacking.
Stewart Mandel of SI.com has a good look at how to understand what really goes on in coaching searches.
— Everything you need to know about the Pac-10 can be found here from Ken Goe.
— And in case you’ve, forgotten, Fresno State and Boise State — two schools with coaches UW may be pursuing, especially the Bulldogs — are playing right now.
All for now.
