Practice notes

With a long season nearing its end, the Huskies are attempting to stay as fresh as possible.
The team was again in helmets, shoulder pads and shorts and again practiced in the Dempsey Indoor. The team hasn’t had a full-pads practice during a game week since the week of the UCLA game.
If you see any pictures from this practice — doubt you will — don’t pay any attention to the numbers. In one long-standing UW tradition, the seniors trade jerseys during the last week of practice, so you had Chris Stevens wearing the jersey of Trenton Tuiasosopo, that sort of thing.
The O-line also appeared back to its usual state with Cody Habben at right tackle and Ben Ossai back on the left side.
Our time to watch practice ended with a little two-minute drill, concluding with Ronnie Fouch hitting D’Andre Goodwin with a 50-yard or so TD pass. As one observer pointed out, however, Cal isn’t likely to cover Goodwin with a linebacker.
