A few more notes and rumors

Just about ready to close up shop for a while, but a few more rumors to pass along:
— Rumblings are that Skyline QB Jake Heaps visited UW this afternoon with his parents, meeting with new Husky coach Steve Sarkisian. Sarkisian visited Skyline High on Monday.
— As some of you pointed out, the headline in the LA Daily News story saying USC secondary coach Rocky Seto said he wouldn’t be coming to UW seemed a little stronger than his comments. And there are lots of rumblings tonight that he could indeed be headed to the Huskies as defensive coordinator. There is unlikely to be any official confirmation of anything, however, as Sarkisian said earlier today he didn’t expect to make any announcements until early next week.
— Also rumblings that two former Huskies — LSU receivers coach D.J. McCarthy and Memphis offensive line coach Rick Mallory — might be interested in returning in some capacity.
— It’s a pay story, but E.J. Savannah talked about his decision to return to Dawgman.com. Notably, Savannah said “the affirmation was great” when Sarkisian told him he could return.
— FSN will air a special episode of Huskies All-Access Thursday at 5:30 p.m. that is a behind-the-scenes look at Sarkisian’s first day as coach. The show will also air at 6:30 and 10 and again on Friday at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.
All for now.
