Friday a.m. link

Yes, link, as the news is starting to slow down a little bit after the whirlwind of the last few weeks, so there isn’t as much out there today.
But one story worth passing along today — this column on Steve Sarkisian from The Deseret News from a columnist who covered him during his BYU days. Worth remembering that this year’s game with BYU was the first of a four-game set over the next few years. UW is scheduled to open the 2010 season at BYU. Somehow, UW always seems to have games on its schedule featuring a school its coach either played at, or just worked at, or something.
Sarkisian is headed back to LA (and may already be there) for practices with USC over the weekend, so any news involving him is likely to break from down there. He’ll be back up here next week when it is expected he will make official some of the news reported in recent days on hirings of assistants.
All for now.
