A look at the new coaches

With the announcement of Nick Holt as the defensive coordinator coming later today, might be worth another look at who Steve Sarkisian has hired as assistants so far and what jobs remain open>
OFFENSE
Offensive coordinator, offensive line Jim Michalczik.
Wide receivers — Open.
Quarterbacks — Open
Tight ends — Open
Running backs — Open.
DEFENSE
Defensive coordinatorNick Holt.
Defensive line — Could be Holt or Johnny Nansen, each of whom has done it in the past. Holt was DL coach at USC and seems most logical to end up here at UW unless he decided to be a coordinator only. Nansen has been hired as a defensive assistant but with an unspecified responsibility.
Linebackers — Nansen seems likely if Holt coaches the defensive line. Nansen was a linebacker at Washington State and later coached LBs at Idaho when Holt was the head coach there in 2004-05.
SecondaryDemetrice Martin.
Special teams — Nansen is expected to coordinate the special teams.
Teams are allowed nine assistant coaches and can split responsibilities however they wish, so UW is likely to hire another defensive assistant in some capacity and then still needs to flesh out the offensive staff.
