Did Huskies commit possible secondary violations?

A UW spokesman has confirmed that the Washington athletic department is looking into whether the football program may have committed a secondary violation while hosting recurits over the weekend.
Specifically, the athletic department is investigating whether a violation occurred when the school set up a mock “game-day entrance” for recruits, simulating running out of the tunnel at Husky Stadium that included smoke and noise.
Desmond Trufant, a Wilson High cornerback who committed to UW over the weekend, described the entrances in a story posted on Dawgman.com.
The spokesman said it was then brought to UW’s attention that the entrances may have violated an NCAA rule that prohibits recruits from participating in any “game-day simulations.” The matter was apparently brought to UW’s attention after there was message-board discussion on Cougfan.com about whether it may have been a violation.
It would apparently be a secondary violation and the Huskies would report it to the Pac-10 office along with a possible self-imposed penalty.
UW hosted 13 recruits over the weekend, the first visits for the staff of new coach Steve Sarkisian.
Here’s the rule that UW may have violated.
