Former Husky Lewis takes in Super experience

In case you’d forgotten, worth noting as the biggest pro football game of the year approaches that the Huskies will be represented, though maybe only on the sidelines.
Roy Lewis, a senior on the 2007 team after spending four years with the Huskies, is on the practice squad for the Steelers — the only Husky on either roster. Here is Lewis’ Steelers bio. UPDATE — I’ve since seen stories indicating Lewis is on the 53-man roster for the Super Bowl but likely to be inactive.
Lewis has been mentioned in a few stories during Super Bowl week, getting his photo in this one, and quoted in this one.
Lewis likely won’t be on the active roster for Sunday’s game — unless he is elevated to it for some reason. But he does take part in all the other activities, surely a momentous experience for a guy who was one of the classiest UW players of recent seasons.
