Cougar QB in trouble

Washington State’s already-muddled quarterback situation got a little more so today with the arrest of Marshall Lobbestael for minor in possession.
Here are the details from KXLY TV in Spokane (with a very liberal use of the word “star” — by the way, I didn’t really mean this as a shot at Lobbestael, just that calling a guy who has played in five games a “star” seemed a bit of hyperbole to me by the TV station).
Lobbestael and Kevin Lopina figure to battle it out for WSU’s starting QB job this year, though Lobbestael is also still recovering from a knee injury suffered midway through last season.
UPDATE — Cougfan.com has this update on the arrest with comments from WSU coach Paul Wulff.
