Who are UW’s top newcomers?

ESPN.com’s Ted Miller asked that question today in a blog entry in which he names the top two or three newcomers for every Pac-10 team.
Miller’s answer for UW? E.J. Savannah, Anthony Boyles and Mykenne Ikehara.
All are solid and obvious choices. Savannah’s return could really boost a linebacking corps that should be a strength of the defense this year with every starter returning; Boyles was the jewel of the Class of 2007 and redshirted last season after a delay enrolling due to academics but could thrive in the new system; Ikehara was constantly cited by coaches as one of the best of the redshirting freshmen last season and could contend for the starting center spot this fall. Former OL coach Mike Denbrock couldn’t rave about him enough but said it made no sense to play him last year with Juan Garcia manning the center spot.
Two other possibilities to make big impacts next season? PK Erik Folk and P Will Mahan. With both of UW’s kickers from last season graduating, Folk and Mahan will have first dibs on the two spots, which each need to show some improvement from the last few seasons. Folk doesn’t really technically count as a newcomer, I guess, since he was eligible to play last year and just didn’t due to injury. But he has yet to play at all for the Huskies so in that sense, he qualifies.
