Friday a.m. notes

A couple notes fo jumpstart Friday
— The word from UW officials down here in Portland is that nothing happened at the Senate hearing for the bill that could help fund a renovation Husky Stadium on Wednesday that they didn’t expected. That was an expected part of the process and they remain optimistic of passage and are now just waiting for the next step.
— UW signee Andru Pulu, a linebacker from Federal Way High, is scheduled to play in the annual East-West All-State Football Game June 27 at Everett Memorial Stadium. Pulu was one of just two in-state signees for UW’s Class of 2009, Wilson HIgh cornerback Desmond Trufant the other. Trufant is not on the roster for the game, however. Here is the official list of players scheduled to participate for both teams.
All for now.
