Spring Game activities announced

The University of Washington today announced some of the activities that will surround the Spring Game on April 25.
In a change from years past, however, the day will no longer be considered the Spring Fling, when there are a number of athletic events on campus that fans can attend for free. That will be held May 2.
Here is the official release with details from GoHuskies.com.
As for the Spring Game, as the release states, coach Steve Sarkisian has yet to decide on a format but says he hopes to hold as much of a game as the team’s personnel will allow.
The game will be broadcast live on KJR-AM and also on the web at GoHuskies.com.
The day will also include a sale of surplus athletic department items, including game-worn jerseys, and a tailgate party for Big W club members.
There will also be a Husky Kid Zone on the East practice field. All players and coaches will be available to meet with fans afterward on the field, the release states.
The Spring Game will begin that day at 1 p.m.
NO PRACTICE TODAY — Just a reminder that UW was off today but will return to practice tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Husky Stadium.
