Tuesday morning links

Another beautiful day, one that makes you wonder if Steve Sarkisian might want to call another audible and huddle the players together for another practice today instead of waiting until tomorrow.
At least the team will be able to enjoy a nice day off.
For you, some links to pass the time. …
Sarkisian’s players of the day were Cody Habben and Nate Williams and he judged the one long run by Jake Locker to be good for 70 yards.
— In case you missed it, here’s Jerry Brewer’s column from Monday’s practice.
— The Oregonian’s daily Pac-10 links leads off with a look at two diverging views of Sarkisian’s practice methods.
— One of the more interesting Pac-10 stories today is that Jack Elway, son of John, is leaving the ASU football team Pitchfork Nation points out he was fifth on the depth chart and didn’t play in the team’s first scrimmage. Word is that Brock Osweiler, the 6-8 Montana native who once committed to Gonzaga to play basketball, is ASU’s QB of the future.
— ESPN’s Bruce Feldman calls USC, LSU and Notre Dame each among his 10 teams most likely to win the national title next season. Those are also three of the first five teams on UW’s schedule next season.
All for now.
