Scrimmage today — and look at Cozzetto’s return

I’ve successfully navigated a drive up I-5 much more adventurous than it needed to be and am at Husky Stadium where I think the “explode and run-through” may be just about to begin.
The Huskies are expected to go 80-95 plays today or so and I know the coaches are especially eager to see the play up front.
Speaking of which, the offensive line was the focus of my story today as I talked with Dan Cozzetto about his return as O-line coach.
Interestingly, I talked with Cozzetto on Wednesday and he spoke about how he really liked how Ryan Tolar was playing at center. And then on Friday, Tolar was suddenly at guard with the No. 1 unit and Mykenna Ikehara at center. Guess that all served to prove his point that it’s April and there is a lot of experimenting going on and there may not be any set answers up front for a while.
On the other hand, the guys that play the best today will take a first big step toward solidifyiing their spots.
I’ll have full coverage after the scrimmage.
