Bronson breaks out

For my story today, I wrote about Demitrius Bronson, who has made a big run up the depth chart at tailback.
This is still a job I don’t expect to be settled until well into fall camp once everyone currently sidelined gets healthy — or they don’t and things move on without them.
I see one of the comments asks what his 40 time. I asked Bronson that yesterday but he said he hadn’t been timed in the 40 since his junior year of high school so he didn’t really have an accurate one — and he didn’t really remember what it was then, anyway. He said he thought they’d all be timed at the end of spring ball.
CLARIFICATION ON LEONARD — One thing I realize I left hanging was my early practice note yesterday on Luther Leonard and the punt return team. I saw him working there as I was leaving to go back to write that entry, and he was hanging with the returners. But he said later he actually ended up working up front as a rush guy trying to block punts.
