WSU’s Sterk responds to Woodward’s comments

As might have been expected, WSU athletic director Jim Sterk didn’t exactly like the comments coming from UW AD Scott Woodward the other day.
Woodward told The Times that he wished Sterk and WSU President Elson Floyd had done more to contain a group of WSU alums who organized to protest SB 6116.
Sterk told The Spokesman-Review yesterday that he thought the comments were inappropriate here’s that story). As the Review story notes, the two figure to see each other next Tuesday in Phoenix at Pac-10 meetings.
