— Scout.com is reporting that Juan Garcia was offered and signed a one-year contract with the Vikings after attending the team’s mini-camp this weekend. Such contracts don’t guarantee a spot on the team but means he did enough to earn a free-agent contract. Now he’ll have to work to make the final roster.
Daniel Te’o-Nesheim was the lone football player to compete on the track team in the dual meet against Washington State Saturday. He was third in the shot put at 52-10.25 and sixth in the discus at 152-02. Here are the results.
