Idaho, Cal games picked up for TV
UW has announced today that the Sept. 12 Idaho game and Dec. 5 Cal game, each at home, have been picked up for live broadcast by FSN.
Here is the release.
That means five of UW’s 12 games have already been selected for TV — the others are LSU (ESPN), USC (ABC) and Notre Dame (NBC).
Most, if not all, of the others figure to be picked up for TV once the season begins, either on six- or 12-day windows, if not earlier. UW has had every game televised the last two seasons — the last time a Husky game was not on live TV was the home loss to Stanford late in the 2006 season (and maybe the TV people knew what they were doing in not broadcasting that one).
