And yet another new Husky

A busy Sunday for the Huskies who also got the word today from tight end Michael Hartvigson of Bothell.
The 6-6, 235-pounder said he gave his commitment to UW coach Steve Sarkisian in a meeting this afternoon on campus.
“I just couldn’t see myself going anywhere else,” he said. “That’s been my dream school since day one.”
Hartvigson’s commit gives UW 11 solid verbals for the Class of 2010 (13 if you include two soft commits) second only in the Pac-10 to Stanford’s 16.
Hartvigson also had offers from Boise State, Oregon State and WSU but said when he got an offer earlier this month from UW that his mind was pretty much made up. “It’s just a dream offer that it came,” he said.
While listed as a tight end, Hartvigson said he has also talked with UW defensive coordinator Nick Holt and that he could also end up at defensive end. “They see me on (either) side of the ball right now,” he said.
Dawgman.com reported that Hartvigson recently can a 4.86 40 and that he had fou TD receptions last season and six sacks.
