The latest news and analysis on the Montlake Dawgs.

Sunday morning links

I link, therefore I am. …
— Hopefully you saw Jerry Brewer’s column today on UW superfan Marin Binger.
— Most interesting item from outside the area that touches on UW may be this column from The Deseret News telling fans of teams that lost on Jake Heaps to “stop crying” about BYU’s advantage due to its affiliation with the Mormon Church. Columnist Brad Rock takes some particular shots at former UW coach Dick Baird, who wrote on the topic at Dawgman.com. This should all make the next three games in the UW-BYU series just a little more fun, shouldn’t it?
— ESPN.com’s Greg Biggins has an item on a top-rated running back who may be interested in UW.
— Interesting take on the new Pac-10 cost-cutting measures from The Oregonian, as well as the news that Oregon was in favor of keeping the round-robin schedule. No surprise there as it was Oregon that didn’t like the former eight-game schedule because it would have forced it to miss Washington for a two-year period, among other things.
— For all those who think San Diego State might be a good candidate to join the Pac-10, the school might first want to find a stadium to play in this season.
— And in an interesting find from thewizofodds.com, the NCAA has ruled that the media cannot cover high school camps held on college campuses.
All for now.
