Friday notes

Simple enough, a few news and notes to pass along. …
— Rumor is that former Husky Caesar Rayford, cut by the B.C. Lions earlier this week, will play for the Spokane Shock of af2. There he will join another former Husky who recently signed with the team, Johnie Kirton.
— Incoming LB Andru Pulu will play in the 3A/4A state football all-star game Saturday at 1 p.m. at Memorial Stadium in Everett.
— Former UW WR Dane Looker, currently an NFL free agent looking for a job, has turned his hand to golf at the moment and is playing in the Washington State Men’s Amateur this week at Palouse Ridge Golf Club in Pullman. He entered the final round today 11 shots off the lead.
— Looker is also mentioned in this story as one of the best available offensive free agents still unsigned. Also included is Reggie Williams, still unsigned after some legal problems in the off-season. Not mentioned is Marques Tuiasosopo, who also remains unsigned with the season nearing.
All for now.
