Another new Husky?

There is according to the Contra Costa Times, which reports today that receiver DiAndre Campbell of Oakland Tech has committed to UW.
Here’s the link.
Interestinigly, none of the established recruiting sites such as Scout.com or Rivals.com have anything on it, and don’t even have scouting reports on Campbell. Not that that means he hasn’t committed, just that it appears he’s a rather off-the-radar guy if he has.
UPDATEScout.com is now listing Campbell as a commit with a premium story on Dawgman.com quoting Campbell further as saying he has committed, noting that he also had an offer from Utah.
But he was listed in January as one of the “Cream of the Crop” recruits from the Bay Area for the Class of 2010. And he is also listed by ESPN.com, though with no info in his entry.
UW has 11 other solid commits and two others from players who could end up at WR in Keanon Lowe and Jamaal Kearse.
But UW recently lost a WR recruit when Tevin Carter decommitted and committed instead to Cal.
Campbell also plays basketball and participates in track at Oakland Tech, Here’s a story from May where Campbell won the long jump at the Oakland Section prelim meet.
