Former Huskies get announcing duties

Former Huskies Brock Huard and Ed Cunningham are among the ESPN announcers whose assignments for this season were revealed today.
Huard and commentator Eric Collins will work the new exclusive ESPNU Saturday night SEC game (generally at 7 p.m. Eastern), part of the recent 15-year agreement with the conference.
Cunningham will work with Ron Franklin on the ABC or ESPN Saturday afternoon game, which could include some Pac-10 games (and I think means he could be here for the UW-USC game Sept. 19, which is a 12:30 ABC game).
The network also announced that Brad Nessler, who called top games on ABC last year, will work ESPN Saturday prime time telecasts (primarily at 7:45 p.m. ET) with analyst Todd Blackledge and reporter Erin Andrews, who adds the Saturday game to her ESPN Thursday night series role. So that means, I think, that’s the crew that will work the UW-LSU game Sept. 5, which is listed as an ESPN game.
In another move with local ties, ESPN also announced that Cara Capuano will host the SEC Weekly show on ESPNU. Capuano had been a Seattle-based FSN announcer for the last few years until recently being released. She’s also listed as a sideline reporter for SEC Network games.
