Friday links and a programming note

A couple of quick links to pass along. …
— Former Husky Ricardo Aguirre, a member of the 1960 and ’61 Rose Bowl teams, died this week. Here’s his obit.
— More futures odds from Vegas, but this one includes a picture of Jake Locker.
— Former Pullman High star Aaron Pflugrad, who left Oregon this spring, is transferring to Arizona State.
ALSO — A quick programming note that I had to undergo knee surgery this week, which I pass along largely because it may mean a few more breaks in the blog schedule than normal as I recover and rehab — and that I won’t be able to get out to UW anytime soon. But while I wouldn’t be able to suit up this weekend, the doctors tell me I should be good to go for training camp. So I’ll do what I can to keep the blog going, but being that it’s mid-July, not a bad time for a little down time, anyway. But also being that I’ll be forced to just sit around a lot, I imagine I’ll try post a few things as I can, including getting to a few more of the questions.
