Sarkisian throwing out first pitch tonight

As noted earlier this week, tonight is UW night at the Mariners game, with Husky coach Steve Sarkisian set to throw out the first pitch.
And that meant the obligatory interview on FSN prior to his trot to the mound — in my recovery mode, doing little but watching TV at the moment.
Unfortunately, the interview didn’t elicit anything of note (nothing about the news this week on the loss of two tailbacks, for instance).
Asked if he would guarantee that UW would win more games than it did last season, Sarkisian said he wouldn’t, repeating his oft-stated line that he would “promise you that we will play with great effort, great enthusiasm and play smarter and if that equates to wins then so be it.”
He was wearing a No. 51 jersey saying that “Ichiro, that’s my guy. Well, my son’s guy, that’s for sure.”
And after a little debate, he seemed to finally settle on throwing “straight cheese” for his first pitch.
Sarkisian is also expected to be a guest on the Dawgman.com show on KJR-AM Saturday morning around 9:35 a.m., an interview that figures to be a little more substantive.
