A couple of views of UW from the LSU side, as well as a couple of answers to your questions. …
— Proof that it’s always football season in SEC country comes today with this front-page of the sports sectiion feature in the Baton Rouge Advocate on UW QB Jake Locker. Nothing earth-shattering in the story but some interesting quotes on how the UW offense may evolve. Locker says again the coaches will want him to run when it’s there. Seeing just how often Locker ends up running will be one of the more interesting things to watch this season.
— The LSU Scout.com site, meanwhile, chips in today with this preview of the Huskies.
Nick Daschel of Buster Sports plots how a Portland native can see every team in the Pac-10 play in person this year for $1,000. First of five parts, with Seattle coming soon.
Jeff Metcalfe, the Arizona State beat writer for the Arizona Republic, reveals his picks for the Pac-10 pre-season media poll and has UW ninth.
ANSWERING A COUPLE OF QUESTIONS
— A few of you asked when ESPN’s College Football Live show will get around to spotlighting the state of Washington. Here’s the schedule showing that Washington’s turn in the spotlight comes July 24.
