Ticket update UPDATED

With single-game tickets going on sale this week, thought it a good time to get an update on where ticket sales are for the Huskies this year.
UW officials report that as of this week, the school has sold about 39,700 season tickets for this season to non-students. That’s still down from last year’s final total of 43,509, though Husky officials think sales will pick up again as the season nears.
As for single games, as might be expected, tickets for the opener against LSU went brisk, a lot, apparently, to fans of the Tigers.
UW officials say that there were more than 6,000 single-game tickets sold for the LSU game on the first day they were available this week (Monday). About 3,500 of those were sold to LSU (this is updated from the first post after additional informationn became available).
UW officials say they have about 750 clear-view seats still available for sale to the LSU game. Once those are sold, we will release about 1,800 obstructed view seats in the first five rows of the stadium (obstructed due to sideline activity as the seats are at field level).
UW is also holding back seats still for full season and 4-Game Plan sales.
All other home games, however, still have quite a few tickets left, including high-profile games against USC, Oregon, Cal and Washington State. But again, officials say they are confident tickets will pick up once the Huskies get into the season. What will obviously help is some good early play by the Huskies, in their first year under new coach Steve Sarkisian.
