Hasty done at Central, DuRocher officially enrolled

Some interesting news out of Ellensburg today that former Husky RB J.R. Hasty has been kicked off the team at Central Washington due to failing to pass his summer school classes.
Here’s the story from the Ellensburg Daily Record.
Not sure if this is the end of Hasty’s college career but he would have been entering his fifth year, having redshirted as a true freshman at UW in 2005 (he could conceivably have a year of eligibility left at a lower-division school, I think).
Hasty was essentially kicked off the team at UW following the spring of 2008 for apparently failing to live up to certain responsibilities. (Here’s a story from last June with details on his UW career and departure from the Huskies).
The story also notes that former Husky QB Johnny DuRocher has officially enrolled and is now part of the team.
This story has some details on the battle for the QB job at Central — ironically, one of the other competitors is former WSU Cougar Cole Morgan.
