A couple quick links and notes

A few notes and links to pass along before heading to Montlake. ….
— Practice begins at 3 p.m. every day this week through Friday before UW has its first two-a-day Saturday. Those start times are 8:45 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. And those times are consistent throughout camp — on days they go just once, it starts at 3. On days they go twice, it’s 8:45 a.m. and 6:45 p.m. (until Aug. 27, when camp ends and they start to get on a regular gameweek schedule).
— ESPN.com’s Ivan Maisel says to keep an eye on UW in his latest 3-point stance.
Nick Daschel of Buster Sports has lots of mentions of the Huskies in his “Things I Wonder” column as camps begin to kick off everywhere throughout the conference.
— ESPN’s Ted Miller has lots of good stuff on his blog today, including these notes from around the Pac-10. He also has UW ninth in his pre-season power rankings but says the Huskies could be vastly improved. He also has this good overview on the state of the conference as the season begins. (And rumor has it that Miller will be attending a few UW practices at some point during fall camp so watch for his dispatches from that).
— In case you missed it, I kind of did a condensed version for the paper today of the position previews I have been posting on here the the last two weeks.
— ESPN sent out a release just a few minutes ago stating that the first two GameDays will be Alabama-Virginia Tech and USC at Ohio State. It said the rest will typically be announced the Monday of the week of the game.
All for now.
