Mid-practice update

Well, here’s what it looks like at Husky Stadium today:

As you can see, still helmets and shorts and no pads.
Two guys not going through drills today are JC transfer CB Dominique Gaisie and true frosh DE Talia Crichton. Gaisie is in sweats only while Crichton is in uniform, such as it is, but appears not to be participating. Could be some sort of academic holdup for Gaisie but there is no official word as of yet. We won’t get that until after practice.
Lots of emphasis on special teams early on with guys working on punt returns and kickoff returns. True frosh James Johnson was a new addition to the cast of regulars with the returners.
Also, the No. 1 offense looked the same except for Kavario Middleton appeared to be running as the one TE the first time out. But that is a position that figures to feature a lot of back-and-forth all fall.
