Wednesday links — more new Huskies?

A few links before heading off to an early practice. …
— Dawgman.com is reporting that UW has gotten commitments from a pair of players from Jordan High School in Long Beach — DB John Timu and LB Princeton Fuimaono. The pair bring to 14 the number of known solid commits for UW’s Class of 2010. Timu currently plays QB for Jordan, and here are his stats from last season. UW, however, wants to use him as a DB, apparently.
Steve Kelley has this column on Chris Polk, reporting that Polk almost quit football last year, frustrated by the way things went during his freshman season at UW, but that his mom helped convince him to see it through.
Bud Withers writes about UCLA QB Kevin Prince and how Rick Neuheisel helped sway him from an early commitment to Washington.
Ken Goe of The Oregonian has this take on UW.
Vince Grippi has a lot of good links from around the Pac-10.
— UW DE Daniel Te’o-Nesheim is on the watch list for the Lombardi Award, honoring the top college lineman in the country.
More later from practice.
