Quick scrimmage update

About 2,000 fans on another glorious summer day took in Washington’s final full-scale scrimmage of fall camp today.
The Purple team, featuring the No. 1 offense and No. 2 defense, beat the White, featuring the No, 1 defense and No. 2 offense, 24-14.
Jake Locker had a solid day, completing 11-18 passes for 154 yards and one touchdown, and led three scoring drives. Backup Ronnie Fouch was 7-13 for 89. There were no turnovers.
In the biggest personnel news, Jordan Polk and James Johnson teamed with Devin Aguilar as the team’s starting receivers, with Jermaine Kearse and D’Andre Goodwin working primarily with the second team.
Both Polk and Johnson showed they belonged with some nice plays. Polk keyed the best drive of the day for the offense, a 10-play, 80-yard march for a TD, with a 25-yard run and a 16-yard catch on a third-and-15.
Johri Fogerson capped that drive with a 1-yard TD.
Other touchdowns were scored by Kearse on a 20-yard pass from Locker; Quinton Richardson on a 95-yard kickoff return; Chris Polk on a 2-yard run; and Tobias Togi on a 9-yard pass from Fouch.
Erik Folk also converted his only FG attempt, of 32 yards.
There didn’t appear to be any new injuries.
I’ll have more later, including complete stats and quotes.
