Sunday links

Sunday is a day off for the team (in terms of practice, anyway) so no reports from Montlake forthcoming today.
Instead, I’ll pass along a few links to pass the time. …
—- Times columnist Jerry Brewer had an interesting discussion today with former Husky Warren Moon that also talked about Moon’s new autobiography.
Jeff Sagarin’s pre-season computer rankings are out and UW is 80th overall and ninth among Pac-10 teams.
— The Oregonian’s Ken Goe has lots of good links from around the Pac-10. He also notes that Oregon is going a little Willingham in getting a little more closed-off to the public in the first year for new coach Chip Kelly.
— In case you’d forgotten that Steve Sarkisian was one a pretty good college QB, this Bleacher Report author includes his 1996 performance against Texas A&M among the 11 best since 1980.
— A few former Huskies in the Raiders-49ers game last night. Dashon Goldson had four tackles for the 49ers while Greyson Gunheim had three for the Raiders and Louis Rankin one carry for minus-one yard.
— One Dallas Cowboys’ blogger says Isaiah Stanback will have a tough battle to make the team’s roster again this season.
— The Spokane Shock, featuring former Huskies Caesar Rayford and Johnie Kirton, won its second straight Arena Cup Saturday night. The story notes Rayford had a forced fumble at a key moment of the game.
All for now.
